“In the “old media” one searches in vain for a report about a sensational court decision from Lisbon, according to which only 152 of 17,000 dead in Portugal died “of corona”. This was reported by the epidemiologist André Diaz, who is acting for the anonymous plaintiffs after a request for information according to the Freedom of Information Act and is accompanying the further proceedings.

This morning I posted this news about the court ruling in Lisbon confirming that there is no evidence that the claimed mass “Covid” deaths in Portugal were “caused by Covid” and that the actual number is only 152 compared to over 17,000.
I now follow with an exclusive interview with Dr Andrès Dias, who is at the centre of the case and answered questions by email from Portugal. I have been able to conduct some sections in bold for emphasis.interview with Dr Diaz, the text of which is documented here:
Celia Farber: How did you get involved in this case and how did you get involved?
André Dias: I supported the petition – which was equivalent to a Freedom of Information request but ended up in court – with epidemiological and statistical questions. I was the first to publish the result of the court decision. The people who filed the petition and paid the court fee wish to remain anonymous.
Farber: Is it true that a court in Lisbon agreed that the Ministry of Health manipulated causes of death? That the citizens’ petition forced the hand of the Ministry of Health and the court then agreed that the petition was correct – what is the status of the case now?
Dias: The court agreed that 2 of the questions:
“How many people have died as a result of Covid?”
“In how many of them was the cause of death confirmed by autopsy?”
were answered correctly and therefore constitute legally binding information.
The current state of affairs is that the media have made puns on the Ministry of Health’s answer that the figure is only a subset of the deaths. The ministry has since filed a counter-claim that citizens have no right to demand such information and is trying to silence them. The petitioners are now working on a follow-up application demanding full details of all deaths – anonymised.
Farber: Is this a big story in Portugal?
Dias: No, the media has completely ignored the outcome of the court ruling and instead brought a narrative of a “fourth wave” in Lisbon that has resulted in a de facto border being imposed around the capital region, with people only allowed to leave at weekends if they have a “green passport”, or vaccination card. The green passport is an EU initiative “to allow easy travel between countries” that the Portuguese government introduced internally – tearing the country apart by imposing an internal border – and is now talking about requiring it even to access grocery shops. The only references to the court document were from “fact-checkers” who claimed it was wrong, without a single new piece of information, just stating that a court document and official data were wrong.
I focused on the 152 deaths, but the court also formulated that the ministry has no data or references, about the existence of the virus, the danger, the causes of the disease, the safety of the vaccines… The petition had many more questions asking for scientific evidence for all these crucial questions, and they answered all of them: “We have nothing.” That alone would be more than enough for courts to throw out all restrictions as unconstitutional, but not a single actor in a responsible position has tried to question the government further.
Farber: Is this a big story in Portugal?

Farber: What do you see happening next and what is the significance of that, if you will.
Diaz: Nothing will happen. The media in Portugal has a full grip on the narrative. 80 to 90% of the people blindly believe their narrative. They believe that Lisbon is going down in a flood of covid, while at the same time the death rate is at its lowest level since records became electronic. The government recommended people attending weddings take rapid tests; the same day the media announced the tests were mandatory – the next day the government changed the law to make them mandatory. The law [states] that outdoor masks are voluntary, while the media repeat that they are compulsory. 90% of people wear them everywhere, including on the beaches.
Since the media has completely ignored the court decision, the government and the Ministry of Health will continue to pretend that there are 17,000 deaths from Covid.
